AI agent, self-validation, product development 2026

Zar

Zar builds software from a description, tests its own work like a real user, then explains the result with voice-over in any language. It doesn't assume the work is fine. It checks first.

"It doesn't trust its own work."

I got tired of agents that build something and just assume it's fine. Zar validates the work first, then hands it over.

Build & validate

Zar turns a description into a working app, then tests every flow the way a real user would.

Explain with voice-over

The finished project is explained with audio narration in multiple languages, so anyone can follow along.

What is Zar

Zar is a personal, in-beta AI tool that automates the process of building, validating, and explaining software. It's deliberately show-and-tell technology. Not a polished release, just a look at what's possible.

What sets it apart from a typical AI agent is the validation phase. Most agents make something and assume it works. Zar actually runs the software it built the way an end-user would, finds where it breaks, and fixes it before it ever reaches you. Quality comes before delivery, not after.

01

Build

Turns your description into a working application. Not a mockup or a sketch, but something you can actually use.

02

Validate

Zar tests its own output by using it the way an end-user would. It finds problems and fixes them before delivery.

03

Show

Every project is explained with audio narration in multiple languages, so others understand the work even when the maker isn't there.

Who it's for

Zar is built to plug into agent harnesses like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, where it acts as the verification gate an agent runs between its own steps. But you don't have to be an agent to use it, and it isn't only for UI validation. A person can drive it directly too.

For harnesses

Drop it into an agent loop as the checkpoint between iterations. It builds, validates, and reports back so the agent catches a broken run in seconds instead of grinding on blind.

For humans

Use it yourself to build something, check that a flow works, record a narrated demo, or test a CLI or desktop app. No agent required.

Why it's different

Latest models

Zar works with the newest AI models as they release, so you're never stuck on outdated capabilities.

Local or cloud

Run it on your own machine or in the cloud, whichever fits your workflow and privacy needs.

Language-agnostic

Explanations with voice-over in any language, so your work is easy to follow. Good work, explained to anyone.

No lock-in

No vendor lock-in. The output is yours and the tooling stays open.
